ATFCAN, which commercializes clean energy technologies around the world, is a not-for-profit corporation based in Ottawa. It was established in 2003 with financial support from ATCO Gas, Enbridge, SaskEnergy, Terasen International and Natural Resources Canada.
Maruti Udyog Limited, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan, has been the leader of the Indian car market for about two decades. The company has a portfolio of 11 brands, including the Maruti 800, Omni, premium small car Zen, international brands Alto, WagonR and Swift, off-roader Gypsy, mid-size Esteem, luxury car Baleno, MPV Versa and luxury SUV Grand Vitara XL7.
ECO Fuel Systems Inc. is a well-established, private Canadian company that has been creating solutions in the dynamic ‘alternative fuel for vehicles’ industry since 1983. Specializing in the technology and equipment required in the efficient conversion of gasoline vehicles to cleaner alternatives like natural gas and propane, ECO has grown into a strong, diversified company involved in research and development, manufacturing, software development, international distribution, and technical services.
This light-duty CNG vehicle demonstration is part of CNG India: Clean Energy Works™, an overall compressed natural gas project developed by ATFCAN and supported by the Government of Canada, Natural Resources Canada, and the Technology Early Action Measures Program under the Climate Change Fund.
