Hydrogen on the Hill
ATFCAN, in partnership with the Government of Canada and Ford of Canada, has undertaken Hydrogen on the Hill, a demonstration of hydrogen-powered shuttle buses on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada. The three Ford internal combustion engine buses, fueled exclusively with hydrogen, are the first of their kind in Canada to be used in real-world driving conditions. The buses will be placed in the Senate’s fleet operation and will transport Parliamentarians and staff members until March 2008.

CNG India
ATFCAN is introducing leading-edge Canadian compressed natural gas (CNG) technologies to India's largest automotive manufacturers, Tata Motors and Maruti Udyog. The flagship project, CNG India, has partnered four Canadian companies: Cummins Westport, Dynetek Industries, ECO Fuel Systems, and Xebec to deliver new technology to India's CNG market. As part of CNG India, Canada and India are teaming up to offer new vehicle products to the Indian market and further promote the benefits of using CNG for transportation.

Expanding CNG Use in Bangladesh
In Phase II of the UNDP project "Technical Assistance for Strengthening Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Limited (RPGCL) on CNG as a Transportation Fuel for Environmental Improvement", ATFCAN led a consortium of Canadian and Bangla technology suppliers and service providers in enhancing Bangladesh's CNG infrastructure through increased conversions of two-stroke vehicles to CNG operation, training, and workshops on technical codes and standards.
